Using Eventbrite with eventflair

Link or create an Eventbrite listing, map ticket types and sync bookings live.

Video guide

Keep Eventbrite, add everything else

Eventbrite is an excellent, highly optimised ticketing platform. You do not have to give it up to get scanning, exhibitor tools and full event management — eventflair sits alongside it.

Connect an event

  1. Create the event in eventflair as normal (name, date, venue).
  2. Open Admin → Eventbrite and either:
    • link an existing Eventbrite event by pasting its link or picking it from your connected account, or
    • create the listing for you from your eventflair event details. It is saved on Eventbrite as a draft for you to review and publish.

Match the ticket types

Map each Eventbrite ticket type to the eventflair ticket it should become — for example Free Visitor Ticket to Delegate. You only do this once per event.

Live sync

Every booking placed on Eventbrite is synced into eventflair within seconds and the delegate is sent their eventflair ticket, with the QR code and add to calendar links. A catch-up sweep runs regularly so a missed notification never loses a booking, and nothing is ever duplicated.

Existing bookings can be pulled across in one go with Import all attendees. Refunds and cancellations made on Eventbrite are not synced.

Temporary Eventbrite errors and rate limits are retried automatically. Attendees without an email address are recorded as skipped rather than stopping the whole catch-up import.

More Eventbrite tools

  • Admin → Eventbrite can hold more than one connected Eventbrite account.
  • Bulk creates several draft Eventbrite listings from a spreadsheet; History shows each run.
  • The email audit shows whether Eventbrite delegates received their eventflair confirmation and lets you resend it.
  • Each linked event has a status bar showing the latest sync state.

On the day and afterwards

Synced delegates scan in exactly like any other ticket holder, with walk-ins and exhibitor lead scanning available too — plus the exhibitor portal, directory embeds, campaign emails and reporting.
