Admin → Subscription promo codes is visible only to the platform administrator. It controls discounts on eventflair's own subscription plans — not stand bookings or ticket discounts, which have their own tools.
Creating a code
- Code — letters, numbers, hyphens or underscores (shown in capitals).
- Discount — a percentage, or a fixed amount in pounds.
- Applies to — the first payment only, a set number of months, or forever.
- Tiers and billing period — limit the code to certain plans and to monthly, annual or both.
- Dates and limits — an optional start date, expiry date and maximum number of redemptions.
- Active — pause a code at any time without deleting it.
The matching coupon at the payment provider is created automatically the first time a code is used, so there is nothing to set up elsewhere. Editing the money terms of an existing code starts a fresh coupon on next use.
Using a code
Subscribers enter the code on the billing checkout screen. It is checked before checkout opens, so an expired, paused or wrong-tier code is refused with a plain explanation rather than failing at payment.
Redemptions and change history
The page lists every redemption — organisation, plan and date — plus a Change history card showing who created, edited, paused, resumed or deleted each code, what changed and when.
Email alerts
You are emailed automatically whenever:
- a promo code is created, edited, paused, resumed or deleted; and
- a trial or subscription starts, changes (plan, status or a pending cancellation) or ends.
Alerts go to every platform administrator's email address.
